Visio shapes stencils and templates

423 shapes in 22 stencils and 5 templates (one each for UML, SDL, MSC, TTCN and URN) shapes that can be used to create UML, SDL, TTCN and URN diagrams. The templates provide a blank drawing canvas and defines the way connections flow on drawings.
You can right-click on the diagram type shape on the template for more diagram types.
Open the appropriate stencil and start adding shapes to your diagram.
All the symbols have connection points at suitable locations.

UML = Unified Modeling Language
SDL = Specification and Description Language
MSC = Message Sequence Chart
TTCN = TestCase Notation
URN = Uniform Requirements Notation

All these example drawings were created using these shapes in Microsoft Visio.

Visio 2013 to 2024
1. Create a folder named UML sampler in your My Documents\My Shapes folder and unzip the file into that folder.
2. To make templates more visible within Visio please read:
  https://www.paulherber.co.uk/stuff-about-visio/#templatesvisible
3. Start Visio. You will find the shapes under the More Shapes menu.

The _M version of the shapes is Metric, the _U version is US units (inches).
